What are the benefits of a tankless water heater?
Tankless water heaters, also known as on-demand water heaters, offer several benefits in comparison to traditional storage tank water heaters. Here are some of the main benefits of a tankless water heater:
- Tankless water heaters provide an unlimited supply of hot water as water is instantly heated as it flows through the unit.
- Tankless water heaters only heat water as it is being used which prevents wasting energy by keeping a large tank of hot water on standby.
- Tankless water heaters can save you space. They are much smaller than storage tank water heaters, making them a great option for homes with limited room and storage.
- Tankless water heaters can last up to 20 years or more with proper maintenance, compared to a lifespan of about 10-15 years for traditional storage tank water heaters.
- By providing hot water only as it is needed, tankless water heaters can save homeowners money on their monthly water bills.
- Tankless water heaters use less energy and emit fewer greenhouse gases, making them a more environmentally friendly option.
What is Hydro Jetting and how does it work?
Hydro jetting is a method of drain cleaning that uses high-pressure water to clear clogs and debris from pipes. It works by using a specialized machine that pumps water through a hose with a nozzle attached to the end. The water is forced out of the nozzle at high speeds, generating a powerful stream that can scour the inside of pipes and blast through clogs and buildup.
Here’s how the process works:
- Our hydro jetting experts insert the nozzle into the pipe where the clog is located.
- The hydro jetting machine pumps water at a high pressure (usually between 3,000 and 8,000 PSI) through the hose and nozzle.
- The high-pressure water stream scours the inside of the pipes, breaking up clogs and flushing debris away.
- Our professionals can control the direction and pressure of the water stream to target specific areas of the pipes and remove buildup.
Hydro jetting is an effective method for cleaning pipes, particularly for larger clogs that cannot be cleared with traditional snaking methods. It is also used to clean the buildup of grease, minerals, and other substances that can accumulate inside pipes over time and reduce their flow capacity.
